Invalidity of Recognition

• Expiration of period of validity;
• No renewal application within period of validity
• Violation for the Code of ethics in Annex A of ISO 18436-1:2012

Cancellation of Recognition

• A certified person violates the Code of ethics in Annex A of ISO 18436-1:2012 and KCIMD confirms that.
• A certified person violates one of imperative duties or more in Certification Registration Form(KCIMD-P-07-16) and KCIMD confirms that.
• A certified person does something that is against the ethics of the technician, and KCIMD reviews and confirms the relevant evidences.
• A certified person had been granted or renewed certification in a fraudulent manner, such as forgery and alteration of documents, falsifying records, etc.
• A certified person unfairly uses a certificate / a certification card.
• A certified person works condition monitoring and machine diagnostics using a certificate during invalidity of recognition.
• A certified person acts against reliability in condition monitoring and machine diagnostics, or acts a teacher or as guide to such conduct.
• A certified person in thermography does not meet the visual acuity requirements of ISO 18436-7.
• A certified person absences or changes of activity which prevents the certified individual from practising the duties corresponding to the category in the method and the sector(s) within the certified scope, for either a continuous period in excess of one year or two or more periods for a total time exceeding two years.
